Hi.

I'm Bethan a runner from London with a passion for sisterhood in sport. This blog is all about the power of movement, community and elevating women in sport.

Run Hackney 2015

I love to run in London. For me it's the ultimate playground - weaving through the city there's something new around every corner, whether it's an unexpected park, street art or simply a beautiful building you've never spotted before. London is a city that embraces runners. They are everywhere, at all hours of the day, so it's only right that there's a spectacular half marathon in one of it's most vibrant boroughs.

Run Hackney is back for it's second year! And it's going to be better than ever!

The flat, fast course weaves it's ways through the heart of East London, taking in some of the borough's most beautiful green spaces and landmarks like the Hackney Empire and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (somewhere I love to run).

Run Hackney is a race for everyone from elite athletes to people looking for their first challenge. Whatever your motivation - getting fit, fundraising, achieving a PB or simply having fun - Run Hackney can help you achieve your goal. And if last year is anything to go by, the support is guaranteed to be amazing!

Entry is now open, and for a limited time you can get £5 off! Plus all runners will get a free men's or ladies fit technical t-shirt, live entertainment on course and in the race village, plentiful water stations and so sparkly new bling!
