Hi.

I'm a runner and a writer trying to make sense of life through words and movement.

Bill's Soho

Bill's has been a favourite of mine for quite some time, and I was really excited when I heard that the Soho branch would be the location for this month's book club!

More than 10 years have passed since Bill Collison transformed his Lewes greengrocer's shop in to a café that served food from breakfast to bedtime as well as delicious treats to take home. Offering a laid back environment, and delicious comfort food, it is no surprise that the concept took off, spreading the delights to more and more people.

The Soho branch of Bill's was the ideal location for book club - we got lucky and scored a large farmhouse table in a quite corner which was perfect for discussing the ins and outs of John Green's The Fault in Our Stars, eating good food, and talking about life.

The group had mixed feelings about the book, however, I enjoyed it. It is an easy read (therefore, perfect for my daily commute) that remains meaningful and raises questions about life, love and death.

One thing that was agreed on was that Bill's is a great venue with even better food!

^^ highly recommended ^^
