I'm a runner and a writer trying to make sense of life through words and movement.

London, you haven't been forgotten

Unless you follow me on instagram, you could be forgiven for thinking I have forgotten about London and exploring my home turf. I haven't. I've been up to all sorts, and been to some great places, so I thought I would share a round up.

homeslice, Neal's Yard - massive wood fired pizzas, beer and prosecco in one of London's best courtyards. The recipe for an excellent night out with my Mum and sister in law.

Evening were spent with dear friends celebrating birthdays and saying goodbye to one of my favourite people as she heads off globe trotting for the next four months. Happy/sad times and two new pubs found - The Crown and Anchor (they match their food to their beer - awesome!) and The Old Red Lion.
This walk was taken in reverse as we headed home after watching my friend finish her first half marathon - so proud!

Weekday evenings were spent strolling the city in search of Starbucks for after work coffee with DT.

I love the views from Canary Wharf, especially early in the morning!

We enjoyed the last of the summer before autumn hit us with force...

...and once it did I made the best cinnamon rolls using this great book - there are so many things I want to bake, I am having to show serious restraint!
